The FCM group oversees project delivery during construction. This includes construction and closeout, with additional input during the planning and design phases. This group ensures compliance with all contract requirements including safety, Work Planning and Control (WPC), quality and site coordination within the lab.

The PM group is responsible and accountable for the overall management of infrastructure projects within F&O. Infrastructure projects include, indirect funded Institutional Capital Projects (ICP), Institutional General Plant Projects (IGPP) and General Plant Projects (GPP) under $30M that are not required to follow DOE O 413.3b. The Project Lead assigns PM resources and oversees infrastructure project delivery during the entire lifecycle of the project including project initiation, planning, design, construction and closeout. This group manages the overall risk of infrastructure projects and ensures safe and high quality execution. 

Major Capital Projects include SLI funded projects over $30M that must follow DOE Order 413.3B. Service Center managers assign resources to oversee and support project delivery during the lifecycle of the project including project initiation, planning, design, construction and closeout. The Project Manager assigned manage the oerall risk of capital projects to ensure safe and high quality execution in a complex DOE environment.
